A NIGHT ON THE TOWN – Original Acrylic & Mixed Media Painting + NFT
A NIGHT ON THE TOWN, is an acrylic and mixed media original painting measuring 24″ x 36″ on 2″ deep canvas. Striking and dramatic use of color and metallic accents.
I have to admit, this painting was an emergent property of a relaxing evening in the studio, after a couple Delta-8 THC gummies. As a scientist, I am very well aware of the carefully administered pharmacological link to enlightened creativity, and I often partake in that journey before I create artwork. From one of those journeys, I remembered the time I left a stage performance in Las Vegas in 2002. The lobby was filled with these characters, who you know as well as I do…were planning on living a different life in Vegas…than they certainly do at home. Cutting loose and being something different for the night, and who am I to judge quite honestly.
For those of you who understand what I am about to say, I encourage you to reach out to me personally, and let’s have a discussion about this piece. Why? Well, in general, I hold onto my originals and never sell them, due to the fact that their creation is such a deeply personal journey for me…the mere act of “selling” that journey feels profoundly emptying.
