BOXED IN – Original Acrylic & Mixed Media Painting + NFT

BOXED IN, is an acrylic and mixed media original painting measuring 24″ x 36″ on 2″ deep canvas. Striking and dramatic use of color and metallic accents.

This painting came together as a matter of misdirection, whereby I initially set out to create something totally different, and this is what became of that “redirected” creative flow. But this is what honestly happens so many times to so many artists; you set out to create something on purpose, but an internal conflict arises out of nowhere…and you either listen to that new voice…or you keep on with the old voice. In this case, I listened to the new voice, and BOXED IN came to life.

For those of you who understand what I am about to say, I encourage you to reach out to me personally, and let’s have a discussion about this piece. Why? Well, in general, I hold onto my originals and never sell them, due to the fact that their creation is such a deeply personal journey for me…the mere act of “selling” that journey feels profoundly emptying.
