Mobile Android App Source Code Reuse And Re-Purpose

As many of you know, I’m pretty big on GeoLocation/GPS app development, and the myriad of ways to put the API to work in clever ways.  One of the funnest ways to use the code you’ve written, is to “reuse or re-purpose” your apps with multiple UI’s for different segments of business (or pleasure).

Much is the same with how I recently re-purposed my GeoMarker Android app, and turned it into a GhostMarker Haunt Spot Tracker.  Since the core GPS framework was totally solid, I figured….why not?

Definitely NOT a big money maker move on my part, but who cares!  That’s the beauty of writing your own code and designing your own graphics:  You can do whatever the hell you want to do!

    Wow, nice app!!!
Incompatible with all of my devices, all of them hi-res! What gives???

I approved your message (seemed a tad smug), because I wanted to address the nature of my app. It’s set explicitly for HD 1080 X 1920 screen resolutions, and I have “manually” selected those in the Android Developer Console. If your phone(s) are not HD 1080 X 1920, then no….my app is not compatible with your phones.
